Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Celtic Apothecary, we take great care in preparing and packaging our dried herbs and handmade soaps. If something isn’t right with your order, we will always do our best to resolve it fairly and promptly.

Returns

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery

  • Returns must be sent back within 14 days of notifying us

Due to the hygienic nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened dried herbs

  • Opened and used handmade soaps

  • Any items that have been used or tampered with

This policy ensures the safety and quality of products for all customers.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • A photo of the item if possible

We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Once returned items are received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was damaged or sent in error.

We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
