Our products include dried herbs, botantical ingredients and handmade soaps. All products are described to the best of our knowledge. However, the efficacy, safety, and health benefits of our products are based on traditional uses and anecdotal evidence. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. However, the traditional values of herbal remedies are well known and further information may be obtained from books, leaflets and the internet.

Our herbs are supplied as raw botanical ingredients for culinary, cosmetic, or traditional herbal use.

Disclaimer: We do not guarantee the medicinal effects of the herbs and handmade soaps. Consult with a healthcare professional before use, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have pre-existing medical conditions.

Product Variations: Due to the handmade nature of some items, there may be slight variations in colour, scent, or appearance between batches.

4. Orders

When placing an order, you agree:

  • to provide accurate and complete information, including your shipping address, email, and payment details.

  • You are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

We reserve the right to cancel any orders that are suspected of fraud, unauthorised activity is suspected or violate our policies.

Order Confirmation: After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email is not an acceptance of the order but a confirmation of the receipt of your request.

Product Availability: Stock indications are not guaranteed on the Website.

5. Pricing & Payment

Pricing information is correct at the time of publication. All prices are listed in pounds sterling (£) and are subject to change without prior notice.

The Celtic Apothecary is not VAT registered, therefore no VAT is charged.

Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout. You will be shown the final total before completing your purchase.

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges that may apply in their country.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We strive to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout.

Shipping Method: Shipping times will vary depending on the method selected and the destination. We currently ship within the UK only. International shipping will be available in the future.

Delivery Time: Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout but are not guaranteed - typically 1-3 business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, customs, weather, other external factors beyond our control or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.

Shipping Fees: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method. We currently ship within the UK only. International shipping will be available in the future.

7. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your products, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order for returns or exchanges, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Eligibility: Products must be unused and in original condition for returns to be considered.

Refund Process: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that postage and packing costs are non-refundable.

Note: Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on products that have been opened or used (for example, dried herbs and soaps).

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and supporting photographs where possible.

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

8. Customer Responsibility

Allergic Reactions: It is your responsibility to check ingredients before use to avoid any allergic reactions. Perform a patch test on soaps and topical products before use.

Consultation: Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before using medicinal herbs, especially if you are taking medications or have pre-existing health conditions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to product images, descriptions, logos, and text, is owned by The Celtic Apothecary or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not use any content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Celtic Apothecary shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. You use our products at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted under UK law.
