Hair Loss

Whilst hair loss could arise from genetics, hormonal or environmental factors such as diet, lifestyle and stress, you could prepare a tonic to stimulate and nourish the scalp to promote hair health and regrowth.

Horsetail is long valued for its silica content, historically associated with supporting hair strength and resilience.

Nettle is well regarded for its nourishing properties and association with scalp comfort.

Marigold is historically associated with supporting scalp circulation and skin vitality.

Lavender has long been used in traditional herbal practice for its cleansing and soothing properties.

Peppermint may also effective in helping to increase circulation and thicken hair follicles.


Steep each herb for approximately 5 minutes. If you have Rosemary and Sage in your garden, put a few sprigs in along with some lime juice and apple cider vinegar.
Use as a hair rinse and massage your scalp to stimulate the hair follicles for 5-10 mins each day.
